Basic activity – advisor to the President of the Association of Ukrainian Taxpayers established with the purpose of representation and protection of the rights, economic, social and other interests of taxpayers at all levels.
By virtue of protecting the rights and interests of taxpayers, I believe that at the current stage the tax service should promote economic development of the country, contribute to provision of conditions for attracting investments, private sector development, tax burden relief and fixed income inflow to the state budget.
The relevant provisions are laid down in the Horizontal Monitoring service, implementation of which in Ukraine was commenced in 2011. Implementation of the service marks a new milestone in development of relations between the government and businesses aimed at ensuring equality and morality. The Tax Service turns into an advisory body rather than a fiscal one, which marks a new level of relations between tax authorities and taxpayers, since they become business partners.
Acting as advisor to the President of the Association of Ukrainian Taxpayers I am aspiring to turn Ukraine into a European state.
The fundamental principles of any developed European state comprise the following: priority of citizen’s rights and freedoms; priority of constitutional norms and the Law; equality of all citizens before the Law. State institutions are accountable to the civil society, and the central government delegates authorities and responsibilities to the local level institutions. Unconditional compliance with state standards and commitments promotes the private entrepreneurial initiative.
Creating European society model in Ukraine would contribute to transforming our country from a developing one to the developed one, i.e. a country where the interests of each individual citizen and society as a whole are in perfect harmony, as are those of the private sector and the state, and where the national cultural ideas and interests keep developing. This model ensures favourable conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs, high level of income to the working individuals and decent standard of living for pensioners. European Community standards are essential to development of the living environment of our citizens, such as infrastructure of cities and towns, ecology, social security, law enforcement, provision of affordable health care service and high level of education.
- priority of the constitutional norms and the Law;
- political reforming;
- alternativeness of power;
- integration of Ukraine with the European Community, accession to the Common Economic Space;
- high level of income to working citizens and decent standard of living for pensioners;
- protectionist policy of the state with respect to proprietors.
- illicit payoff schemes related to VAT refund.
